Welcome to the start of a week filled with creative diy projects and heartfelt tales surrounding a cause that many would agree is truly deserving of assistance:  animal shelters.

With tremendous help from Hometalk for sponsoring this blog tour and Jeanette Chaney of Country Design Style who has single-handedly organized the event, this is a blog tour to help bring awareness to the many ways there are to help animal shelters maintain costs for the care of all the animals that are yet without a family.

Hometalk Thrift Benefit Blog TourA group of creative and inspiring bloggers are getting together

for our first annual Hometalk Thrift Benefit for Sheltered Animals Blog Tour.

That’s a mouthful! Let’s break it down.

Hometalk: A home and garden website that brings together professionals, bloggers and anyone interested in all things home. It’s like Pinterest without the hair and nails. Plus, it’s free!

Thrift Benefit: Did you know many communities across the country have thrift shops that sponsor your local Humane Society or animal shelter?

Shelter Animals: There are so many animals in need. Shelters do so much with so little.

Blog Tour: The group of creative animal loving bloggers listed below sharing our animal related posts in a blog tour.

Hometalk Thrift Benefit for Sheltered Animals Blog Tour starts, today and goes through Friday the 18th. Here’s a chance to meet new bloggers and many of their animal family members, get creative ideas from thrift shop finds, or read about the wonderful animals that share our journey.

Thank you for stopping by.  We would love to have you follow along with us throughout the week.
Thank you, again for stopping by ~ Amy

Awww, I love this. Adopted our cat Puss from the humane society and she’s been such a great pet/fierce protector of the family. 🙂

Thank you, Heather! Adopting our cat is one of the best things we ever did. I’ll never forget the first time we saw him at the shelter. It sounds like you have found a great pet in Puss, too 🙂
