Quick at Home Pedicure

If you don’t have time to make it to the salon, or to give yourself the full at home pedicure treatment, try this QUICK home pedicure solution before you head out to a holiday party, an impromptu vacation or an evening on the town. Easy, fast and effective you can do this in about 5 or 10 minutes, and have feet thatfeel nearly salon ready.

Quick at home pedicure tips

This quick home pedicure basically starts and finishes with a very easy to find and inexpensive beauty item:

  • Wet cleansing facial towelettes

I do mean the kind you would use on your face. I am not pushing any particular brand. There are many to choose from but one with exfoliating properties and vitamin enriched ingredients will really help work off the calluses and dry skin layers leaving your feet feeling smooth and smelling fresh. I will tell you that I like to use the Pond’s brand towelettes, but I think most other brands would probably work just as well.

That’s it! It is really so easy, it’s almost not worth mentioning, but I couldn’t resist and unfortunately for me, this is often the only kind of pedicure I get.

Additional tips:

  • You can trim and gently file toe nails before using towelettes.
  • You can remove all worn polish and start from scratch, or just touch-up the polish you already have on.
  • If you do normally go to a salon for a pedicure, consider keeping a back-up bottle of whatever color polish you are currently wearing in stock at home for touch-ups..
