How Sweet it is $500 Cash Giveaway {And a Few Random Tips}

September 3, 2014 By Amy 4 Comments

3 Sep

We have a $500.00 cash giveaway (open worldwide) starting today!! I also happen to have a few random tips to share. Unfortunately, those tips have nothing to do with how to win $500 in cash, but I have found that sometimes the best tips, random or otherwise, come from a friend or someone you know.

And…here are a few random tips that I’d like to share:

Bug Stop

{Random Arachnophobia Tip}

As my friend, Laura was over the other day helping me texture the other half of the basement, we got on the subject of BUGS (spiders in particular). Now I don’t hate bugs or spiders when they are outdoors, but I do hate bugs and spiders in my house!!

So, Laura proceeded to tell me that she doesn’t have a bug problem any more because she uses a product called Bug Stop.

Have you ever heard of it? I’m considering trying it once the basement is all painted. She says she applies it twice a year and it works wonders on her bug problem.

remifemin

{Random TMI Tip}

As my friend Laura and on continued on, she couldn’t help noticing how I was struggling with a hot flash (I am almost 50). Well, Laura told me that she doesn’t have a hot flash problem any more because she uses a product called Remifemin.

Have you ever heard of it? It’s all natural with the base ingredient being Black Cohosh. There’s no hormones in it at all.

I not only considered using Remifemin, I went out that night and bought some.!! It says it takes a few weeks to work. I can keep you posted, that is, if you’d like….

Covers-knobs-with-balloons-when-painting

{Random DIY Tip}

The very next day, Ken and I were prepping the basement for the massive paint spraying and he asked me if I had some balloons. Huh??

Did you know that you can cut off the tip portion of a balloon and wrap it around small knobs, dials and what not to keep it free of paint? I sure didn’t know that.

Ken says he came up with the idea on his own. I’m not sure on that, but I let him slide, as I thought it pretty handy.

And now… onto the giveaway for $500.00 cash!!

It is open worldwide, so anyone can enter. If you win you will be paid through Pay Pal.

Good luck my friends!!

    […] has been starring on my blog a lot these days.  Like when she gave me those handy, yet random tips last week.  Anyways, she is a crafty girl, as well, and she has recently started doing pyrography. […]
