Leaving for Western Kentucky and I’m Taking Instagram Along

Our destination is western Kentucky, as we head off this weekend to visit my son in college. We’ve got plenty of adventure planned which will include roller skating, fishing, junk store shopping and fried chicken!

Western-Kentucky

We’re going roller skating, because it isn’t often that you get to visit the home of the WORLD’s LARGEST ROLLER RINK;  fishing, because we’re going to be just miles from The Land Between the Lakes. Junk store shopping in Hazel, because, well, that’s just a MUST if I’m going; and fried chicken because my son tells me Kentucky has the absolute best!!

I followed my own advice, for once, by completing the 14 Tips for a Stress Free Start toYour Road Trip, and we are actually prepared to leave on time. Oh… And I’m taking Instagram along because it’s my newest guilty pleasure! Have you joined Instagram, yet? Do you even know what it is? I didn’t, until recently and now I can’t stop snapping photos…of EVERYTHING!! Instagram is a really fun way to take IPhone and Android photos of subjects you like and share them with the world.

If you look on my sidebar, you’ll see that I have started my very own Instagram Gallery. (I’ve noticed that if you use the word “gallery” in a sentence, you can make any other word around it sound important!)

If you want to try Instagram, there are three ways you can try it out right from here. You can join Instagram yourself if you have an IPhone or an Android. You can click on the “follow @stowandtellu” tabs in my side bar and view or follow right from your web browser. You can also view my profile and photos at anytime with no commitment, by clicking on the tab that says, “View on Instagram.” I’m hoping to keep an even balance between road trip fun and Instagram, as my family won’t allow me to do anything but! So, please, follow along and let me know how I’m doing.

I spent an awesome Thanksgiving at Land Between the Lakes in a little cottage at a sailing school of all places! Such a cool area!
